The Front Porch, With Garage Sale Finds

December 3, 2010 by Pamela Parker Caird 2 Comments

On my way home today, I happened upon a moving sale in the neighborhood. I scored great deals on the massive amounts of Christmas lights and decorations that we need to make a good showing in our current neighborhood. (With properties ranging from 3 to 10 acres, the decorations have to be pretty sizable to even be noticed.) I also hauled home three chairs, including two rockers, and, in the process, completely changed the look of our front porch. I’d thought we’d re-paint the rockers, but they don’t look half bad.

Aren’t garage sales fun. Love the rockers, they look great. You’re right they didn’t need to be painted. I can’t wait to visit and see your home. Brenda

Thanks for the comment, Brenda. We really lucked out with this sale. Agree, it is so much fun to find things you need, or would have bought eventually anyway, for such bargain prices.

You are welcome to visit, anytime, maybe when you come up to visit Cezanne and Patrick. We have a lot of entertaining ambitions, so let us try them out on you!
