The BBC outfitted a 13-year-old Scottish boy with a Walkman for a week — an antique — and had him write his observations on portable music technology. The best paragraph (for old folks):
It took me three days to figure out that there was another side to the tape. That was not the only naive mistake that I made; I mistook the metal/normal switch on the Walkman for a genre-specific equaliser, but later I discovered that it was in fact used to switch between two different types of cassette.

That's hilarious.
I showed my 10 year old daughter an old rotary phone, and she just stuck her finger into the holes. She has no idea how to “dial” a telephone. Thank goodness for iPods and MSN chat, or she'd lose the use of her fingers entirely.

Excellent! Oh, you forgot texting. Soon she'll be all over it. Another good one on media I heard recently… Dad tells son he sounds like a broken record. Son asks, “What's a broken record?”
